Network Usage Check: (Additional Information on the Network Usage Check)

     The network is where computers communicate with each other, your browser searches reach the internet and computers send print request to a printer. However, it also is where viruses or even unwanted users might enter your computer.

     Your home network is where all of the devices in your home, including blue tooth all interact.

     In most cases, If you have cable, then your home network is attached to your cable companies router and modem.

     This router is password protected. You can setup your network to allow access by other users or not.

     On windows, If you have a wireless router, you can see all available networks in your area by clicking on your internet access.

     This shows me a list of other networks in my area, usually neighbors in my area. Here, my network is called “IQWORKS-2G”.

 

     There are many combinations of networks, devices, routers and modem configurations that are specific for what a particular business, home or other entity might need.
